Our practice specializes in the evaluation and treatment of infections that can arise in infants, children and teens. Children are referred to our office when they develop a complicated infection or an unclear condition that warrants the expertise of a specialist with knowledge of how infections and infectious diseases affect the body.
Dr. Amaya and his staff will take the time to listen to your concerns and evaluate your child in a gentle and unrushed manner. Many parents are naturally concerned when they are told their child will be seeing an “infectious disease expert” or that their child has symptoms of an infectious disease but there is no need to worry.
