Our practice specializes in the evaluation and treatment of infections that arise in infants, children and teens. Children are referred to our office when they develop a complicated infection or an unclear condition that warrants the expertise of a specialist. Dr. Amaya and his staff will take the time to listen to your concerns and evaluate your child in a gentle and unrushed manner. Many parents are naturally concerned when they are told their child will be seeing an “infectious disease expert.” Our practice takes pride in easing your anxieties and making your visit a pleasant and reassuring experience.

Infusions services are also provided in our office for children who require specialized IV medications and treatments. IV infusions are provided in a relaxing and child friendly manner supervised by a pediatric nurse.
