About Us
At Pediatric Infectious Disease Specialists our top priority is you and your child. With this understanding the practice was opened in 2002 by Dr. Rene Amaya. Through years of hard work and purposeful intention the practice has expanded to now 5 locations, added 2 additional doctors as well as a staff of 4 members consisting of an office manager and medical assistants.
We have privileges in hospitals throughout Houston including Children’s Memorial Hermann, Texas Children’s Hospital-Medical Center and Texas Children’s West Campus.
Our practice is here to serve you in any capacity that we can. We are able to speak with patients in English, Spanish and Japanese. Houston is multicultural city and so is Pediatric Infectious Disease Specialists of Houston.
